Dear Hope,
in the past few days Mum has been a bit more quiet than usual. Maybe it’s because we’ve been thinking of you and missing you here with us. We went to the lake where we scattered some roses, which I didn’t understand because the ducks really didn’t enjoy them. Usually we give them bread crumbs.
Mum explained that she does this as a way to remember you and the place where we scattered your ashes. Mum calls it ‘Hope’s Place’ but because it’s far far away in the land of OZ we did the same ritual here on the lake near where Mimi’s grave is. We bring you roses… and remember your 18 months birthday when you became an angel.
